Miss Michelle Ho has joined Avant Dance Studio! She is teaching on Mondays and Wednesdays. Come and join her classes!

Michelle graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with BFA (Hons) Degree in Dance, majoring in ballet and dance education. She was the recipient of the highest and the only graduate award-The Academy Award.

During her study in APA, she was on the Dean’s List in 2018. Her ability and talent is recognised and acknowledged through the receipt of multiple scholarships--HKSAR Government Scholarship Fund-Talent Development Scholarships and Reaching Out Award Scholarships, and The Society of the APA Local Scholarships. In 2016, she was invited by TVB for guest interview and performance in “Cultural Engine 4U”. In 2018, she furthered her dance education in Munich and Paris under the scholarship scheme.
 
Besides, she is the prize winner of various international and local dance competitions:
 

First Place (solo) in Hong Kong (Asia) Ballet Competition for 5 consecutive years (2014-2018)

Winner of Full Summer Scholarship of Royal Academy of Dance and BMICA Ballet Academy of Germany in this competition

Gold Award and The Best Performance Award (ballet solo) in the 46th Hong Kong Open Dance Contest

Gold Award (Chinese dance solo) in the 42nd Hong Kong Open Dance Contest

Silver Score in both ballet and contemporary in American Dance Competition International Ballet Competition Florida.

She is now a registered teacher and associate of The Royal Academy of Dance and attained Distinction in Advanced 2 examination. She is also a piano teacher with ABRSM Grade 8 piano qualification. As the youth ambassador of Home Affairs Bureau, she is very active in community performances and services as well and was appointed as the leader of International Youth Exchange Programme 2019 to represent Hong Kong to visit Singapore.
